On "The Swaddle Hype"
Personally I never understood it, just because it is simply not something we do in France (and babies sleep just fine without it. It does not come naturally to me. A friend, learning about swaddling as the same time as me, even said "oh, it looks like a little spring roll!". Also overheard "looks like a straight jacket:. Disturbing. Seems here that you MUST swaddle a baby. Here's a good read on the point that, really, you can do whatever you want. Phew, thanks for that.
